Hi y'all~ I am going to blog about my staycation with yf! We've been thinking of how we should celebrate for our first anniversary and we're pretty excited by the thought of it! I think it's because we don't usually celebrate month-sary or buy gifts for one another every 28th. So july the 28th is a rly special date for the both of us! I've been hearing a lot of reviews about local hotels from friends and I also checked our local bloggers' experience in some hotels. So I decided that we should spend 2D1N at Studio M!
Studio M is located in between Clarke Quay and Chinatown. It is a very inaccessible place, there's no bus stops nearby nor is it near any malls or mrt stations. Opposite the hotel is the Singapore River and a building's carpark. But there's a 7-11 nearby and the hotel actually provides shuttle bus to various malls nearby and to Paragon :-) The hotel room is pretty cozy, and it is rly small (smaller than classrooms). The hotel adopts a loft concept so every room has 2 levels in it. Their toilet is so damn small I don't even know how to explain lol. We booked a Studio Loft using the Flash Sale Promotion (ended alrdy) and the stay costs us $211.XX nett. It is pretty affordable for a local hotel which is decent and unique from other hotels ;) If y'all are interested in booking one of their rooms for like national day holiday or weekend getaways, you can check our their special offers here ;)
We got a complimentary upgrade to Premier Loft, which I alrdy expected... lol. Cos almost all the reviews I read said that they get a free upgrade from Studio Loft to Premier Loft. There isn't much difference, just that for the Studio Loft, the bed is located at the first level, and as for the Premier Loft, the bed is located at the top level. I think its better that the bed is placed on the top so whenever you come back to your hotel, you can just conveniently dump your stuff onto the sofa without worrying that you will mess up your bed ;) We were allowed to checked in at 2pm (their lobby smells super good y'all can go and smell. I never exaggerate) and we nua til 4pm, & cabbed to town! Bf waited for me to do my nails and we headed to Wisma to do some shopping for formal wears!! Crazy sales omg yf got a formal shirt for $19 and $29 each. I walk away with smthg for $29 too! Then we headed to Plaza Sing to get my gift #2 and we had dinner at Bangkok jam ;)

We checked out at 12pm and took a shuttle bus to Paragon and headed to Orchard Central for lunch ;)
This fattening meal ends our short staycation during the weekends! Abrupt ending here hehehe bye.
