First Day of Internship!

I really want to share how well the first day of my intern was........... but I am rly lazy so I am going to pull out some parts from my daily internship report and paste it here! Btw, the purpose of my daily report is to assist me to write my final report after my 2 months internship! :-) I am working for a Marketing and PR Company now which I self-sourced, I won't mention the company name! But if you're close enough with me, you'd have knew it ;)

I reported for work at 11am (instead of 9am) yay! I got to sleep longer! The boss treated us lunch at Tamoya Udon, and we got deserts at Dulcet & Studio. Both are located at Liang Court, in case y'all don't know, Liang Court is more of like a Japanese-based mall. They have all the jap brands, jap food, and jap bookstores! Uniqlo is going to open there soon!! Yeh so on the first day of work, I did not report to the office itself, but I reported to my direct supervisor at a client’s office (which is my dad's office HAHA)

So the first day of work was good, everything's was comfortable cos I know the people in the office. My colleagues were very friendly and welcoming. I got assigned 3-4 tasks alrdy on the first day, and my reporting time is flexible every day. The fun part about the job is I don't have to work in the office, I can work outside at my own pace as long as I do my job and meet the deadlines!

Tomorrow I am going for an event launch at Mount Elizabeth and I am going to be part of many other events too! It's going to be an eye-opener!!!!!!!!

The sad thing that happened today was this: I BROKE MY PHONE'S SCREEN.

If you know me long enough, you would have know that I am always careful with my belongings and I have never broke my phone's screen in my entire life. So this is my first time facing this kind of shit and I was pretty upset throughout the journey home. My phone slipped off my hands and dropped on a hard, concrete ground at the busstop -_- My bf couldn't meet me cos he was out and I was facing this kind of emotional torture on my own. I was carrying my handbag and laptop yet I have to purchase some logistics for tomorrow's event. I was damn lost then I sat at Mcd and teared (lol). After that I called my bgy and he came and help me carry my stuff, help me take my logistics stuff and sent me home (til my house gate that kind omg so kind and he even help me close my gate like must literally see me enter my home). Then throughout he told me that its ok blablablablabla maybe i will get used to the crack screen, or I should change it when it gets worse. Just wait and see what happens. I felt so much better after all his kind gestures!

I told bf that I missed him a lot cos I did not meet him the entire day cos of our work..... then he came to my place and surprised me hehehehe I was so happpppppy! But I felt bad at the same time cos it has been a long and tiring day for him... not to mention, he was alrdy very tired during his journey home.... thank you b :')

This pretty much sums up my first day of work! I guess it went all well :-) Got to head to bed now cos I am having driving in the morning and I have to chiong to the event venue T_________T ttfn!
