I left the room. The dimly lit hallway gave way to a large, equally dark room. To my right, a staircase which led to a room quite familiar to me. Knowing my destination, I walked up the stairs, and emerged through the curtains that concealed the place I knew best. My hesitation continued to haunt me- the thought refused to leave. Why?
